My new website is up and running.
No, the site isn’t about minimalism, but the design is minimalist in nature. I chose a StudioPress theme with beautiful typography. I’m staying away from stock photography. I’m keeping things simple. And it’s not really a blog.
Okay, it’s a little more bloggy than I’d planned. My initial vision was a site that simply showcased samples of my writing and music. But then I wrote a short essay, and that led to another one, etc. What can I say, I’m a writer.
The difference between the new site and anything else I’ve done on the Internet is that I’m writing shorter, simpler articles, maybe even blurbs. The titles are also very short. It goes against all traditional blogging advice but I don’t care. My goal is to become a better writer, not a better blogger.
